Honor X8e 4G Display Features

You get a 6.87-inch TFT LCD at 1,592 x 720 pixels. Honor rates it at 120Hz and up to 1,020 nits peak brightness.

That 120Hz makes scrolling look smoother than 60Hz. But here's the tradeoff, 720p stretched across 6.87 inches isn't sharp like Full HD+ panels, so small text can look a bit soft. And TFT LCD keeps costs down, but you won't get the contrast or inky blacks of AMOLED. That 1,020 nits figure should help outdoors, that's Honor's claim for bright light visibility.

Honor X8e 4G Performance and Software Specifications

MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 runs the show, with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 685 and Adreno 610 inside. Honor pairs it with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, plus RAM Turbo that it describes as virtual memory equivalent to 8GB+16GB.

This is a 4G-only chip, so there's no 5G here. Connectivity covers 4G, dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. For daily stuff like browsing, social apps and streaming, it's built for efficiency, not for pushing high-end games. 256GB gives you a lot more headroom than the 128GB you still see a lot in this bracket.

Honor X8e 4G Camera Features

Around back there's a 108MP primary camera at f/1.75 with an auxiliary lens, plus 1080p video and 8x digital zoom. Up front it's a 5MP camera for selfies and calls. Honor also adds AI Image to Video 2.0 and a dedicated AI button.

108MP gives you plenty of resolution and pixel-binning for brighter shots in good light. f/1.75 is fairly wide, so it lets in more light when it's dim. Honor doesn't specify what that second rear lens does, no ultrawide or depth label in the listing. And that 8x zoom is digital, so it crops in and loses detail as you push it. Video tops out at 1080p, not 4K.

Honor X8e 4G Battery and Durability Features

The headline is that 7,700mAh battery with 45W Honor SuperCharge over wire. For toughness Honor lists IP68, IP69 and IP69K for dust and water, and it notes that protection can fade with wear.

7,700mAh is well above the 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh you usually see in this class. So you'll likely go longer between charges, though your mileage will vary with brightness and refresh rate. 45W should refill that big cell quicker than 18W or 33W bricks.

Honor claims lab-tested drop resistance up to 2.5 metres, with SGS Premium Performance certification for drop and crush resistance. IP69K includes resistance to high-pressure water jets on paper. The phone is chunky at 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.3mm and 218.5g, and that weight makes sense with this size of battery.

Price and Availability in India

Colors are Sunrise Orange, Desert Gold and Velvet Black. The phone has shown up on Honor's Azerbaijan website, where local retailers list the 6GB+256GB model at AZN 688 (about $400) to AZN 820 (about $480). India pricing hasn't been announced yet.

If you want a phone that just keeps going and doesn't crack the first time it slips, this one's spec sheet is speaking your language. But you'll be trading 5G and a sharper display to get that battery and durability.
