Oppo Find X10 Forest Green: What's New

Don't expect new hardware here. This is a paint job, not a spec bump. Oppo says Karlotta Freier helped shape the Forest Green finish, so it's got an artsier vibe than the standard palette. It goes on sale in China on October 30.

Here's how the regular Find X10 is priced in China. The 12GB+256GB model starts at 5,499 yuan (approximately $820). You'll pay 5,999 yuan (~$895) for 12GB+512GB, 6,499 yuan (~$970) for 16GB+512GB, and 7,499 yuan (~$1,120) for the top 16GB+1TB trim. Forest Green joins Glacier Blue, Mist Titanium and Coral.

Design and Build

Oppo paired a micro-textured metal frame with a velvet-finish glass back. You get better grip and fewer fingerprints than glossy glass. Forest Green leans into that, a deep muted green that'll hide smudges better than the paler options.

And it's built tough. You get IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Most flagships stop at IP68 for submersion. This adds IP66 for strong water jets and IP69 for high pressure, high temperature jets. Up front the bezels are razor thin at 0.99mm all around, so the 6.59-inch screen feels bigger than it is.

Display, Performance and Battery

The 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED hits 2768 x 1272 pixels and tops out at 144Hz. LTPO lets it drop the refresh rate when you're just reading, which saves power. Crank it up and scrolling looks fluid, smoother than your typical 60Hz or 120Hz panel. Pixel density is high enough that text stays crisp even up close.

Inside it's MediaTek's Dimensity 9600M with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage in China. That's room for serious multitasking and a huge local media library without constantly clearing apps. For cameras you get a 200MP main with OIS, another 200MP periscope telephoto for long zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide. Oppo's clearly chasing detail at every focal length.

Battery is where it pulls away. 8,000mAh is huge next to the 5,000mAh norm, so you should get a lot more time between charges. Charging is quick too, 80W wired and 50W wireless, both well ahead of the 25W to 45W wired speeds a lot of rivals still use. It runs ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.

Oppo Find X10 price in India and Availability

The Forest Green model is confirmed for China from October 30. Oppo has already rolled out the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in global markets.

The Verdict

If you wanted the Find X10 to stand out a bit more, this is your version. Same monster battery and dual 200MP setup, but in a colour that doesn't look like every other slab. If Oppo keeps it China exclusive, that's a missed chance to let the global lineup have some fun.
