9.7-Inch 90Hz Display and All-Metal Design
You get a 9.7-inch LCD here. It runs at 2052 x 1152, hits 90Hz, tops out at 500 nits and covers 100% sRGB. Honor covers it with strengthened glass for extra scratch and drop protection.
And it's all metal. The unibody measures 235.37 x 141.43 x 8.48mm, weighs 477g and comes in Starry Grey. Honor's got SGS five-star gold certification for drop and pressure resistance plus MIL-STD-810H, so it shouldn't fall apart in a backpack. That compact footprint is the whole point, it's built to be tossed around the house.
For context, Xiaomi's Redmi Pad 2 also uses a 9.7-inch panel but pushes to 120Hz while Honor sticks to 90Hz.
Performance, Battery and Features
Inside it's a Snapdragon 685 with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Need more space, you can add a microSD up to 2TB. It's not flagship grade, that crown still belongs to the Honor Win Pad that just launched.
Battery is the highlight. 8,000mAh with 15W charging over USB-C. Honor rates it at 82 days standby, 122 hours of music and 16 hours of video. You'll also find dual speakers and a pair of 5MP cameras, front and rear, good enough for video calls and online classes but not much else.
Software is MagicOS 10 on Android 16. Honor's leaning hard into the kids angle too, with Octonauts content, more than 2,000 kids songs and over 17,000 animated videos baked in.
