Design, audio and ANC

You've got two finishes, Titanium Shadow and Polar White. The buds themselves are IP55 for dust and water, but the case isn't water resistant at all.

Sound comes from that dual driver setup in each bud, an 11mm composite woofer and a 6mm planar tweeter with a separate DAC for each. OnePlus built it with Dynaudio and says you'll get 50% more bass than last gen. For Hi-Res it uses LHDC 5.0, which OnePlus rates at 24-bit/192kHz and up to 1Mbps. And there's head tracked Spatial Audio plus Golden Sound, which tweaks the profile to your ear canal and hearing.

ANC is adaptive and OnePlus claims it cuts twice as much noise as the Buds Pro 3, adjusting on the fly as your surroundings change. Calls get three mics per bud and a bone conduction VPU sensor to pull your voice out of the background. Like the battery numbers, that's all OnePlus's own claims.

Battery and charging

OnePlus rates total play time at up to 53 hours with the case if you leave ANC off. Turn ANC on with AAC and that falls to 26 hours. Just the buds by themselves, you're looking at up to 13 hours with ANC off.

Need a quick refill, OnePlus says 10 minutes on the charger gives you up to 14 hours with the case. And the case can charge wirelessly too.

AI features and compatibility

There's a lot of software packed in. AI Live Translation handles live conversation between languages, you can talk straight to Google Gemini, and Clear Audio Recording uses Dolby processing across both buds to clean up what you record. There's even Neck Health monitoring that nudges you about head and neck posture.

For connection it's Bluetooth 6.1 with dual device pairing, plus Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. And if you've got a compatible OnePlus phone, latency can drop to 39ms for gaming.

AI Live Translation, Clear Audio Recording, Neck Health monitoring and the 39ms low latency mode need a compatible OnePlus phone. India pricing and launch details haven't been shared yet.

Who It's For

If you already live on a OnePlus phone and want that Dynaudio tuned dual driver sound with stronger ANC and marathon battery, this is your set. But without a compatible OnePlus phone you won't unlock the translation, recording tricks or that super low latency. And that's the bet OnePlus is making, that you'll stay in its ecosystem to get the good stuff.
